AMFM
(Ongoing)
AMFM is a Chicago-based arts platform that supports and features emerging and established artists through our website, which includes content with local artists and creatives from all over the globe, and through our curated events, exhibitions, partnerships, and activations. Through programming, AMFM combines the arts to cultivate community, diversity, inclusivity, intergenerational engagement and of course, good vibes with a purpose, mission, or cause.
McKissick created AMFM, originally a web magazine, as an independent study project in undergrad in 2009. In 2016 - 2018 AMFM Gallery was a brick and mortar space that operated as a cultural and artistic hub in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The 900 sq. ft space housed a performance and exhibition space, a small shop featuring local designers and makers, a music production studio, and resident artists work space.
AMFM Gallery was named Best New Gallery by the Chicago Reader in 2017. Partners and collaborations have included: Red Bull, Chicago Park District, Saatchi Arts / The Other Art Fair, WNDR Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Allied Media Conference, Pitchfork,
